Bell'Acordo has recently expanded from a trio to a quartet, with the addition of long-time musical associate Tom Gerubassi Schmidt on the standup bass. No amps or mikes for this band! Just pure acoustic instruments!
Tom has a tremendous background as a jazz player, having worked with many jazz greats Ed Blackwell, Lee Konitz, Bob Moses, Jack Dejohnette, Sam Rivers, and many more. Now he anchors Bell'Accordo's traditional Italian music with his big bass sound.
